sub Wrote:Just edit your config.xml and set the version to:
<Version>GB-PVR v0.96.12</Version>

That'll be right under the line which says

yes, s-video from the card to the TV (by way of a receiver) - I do believe the same thing was happening w/ the computer monitor - and it only happens using overlay.

VMR9 and VMR7 don't produce this glitch, but neither draw fast enough using any driver I've tried (nvidia, intervideo, etc.). Video overlay also produces a better picture overall. I'm using a geforce 6200 (AGP), and an Athlon64 3000+ w/ 1GB memory

I've just checked, and overlay is working fine here. Can you reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your gbpvr.exe.log and gbpvr.exe-native.log?

sub Wrote:- Added option to config.xml to have video also obey the overscan settings. Previously this only applied to the menus etc.
- More improvements to the MVP client (pressing Skip multiple times in quick succession, initializing video output correctly after MVP has been in standby... etc)

I don't suppose there's any chance that the overscan settings work with the MVP?

Also could you elaborate a bit on the improvements to the MVP?

No. The MVP has very limited capabilities in this area.

The changes were mostly related to using the gbmvp.bin dongle. Now shuts down cleanly. Initialises video correctly after coming out of standby. You no longer have to wait for one skip to complete before pressing skip again. Fixed a couple of things that would cause it to crash etc.

Now using the new ATI drives with "video mode" and using overlay manager , the OSD now fits the TV screen perfecty. No more numbers and decriptions missing to the left and right.

Hi - I'm trying to add my Maui-iii ntsc card as a second device but I can't get past "The drivers for the device you have configured do not seem to be installed..." when I try to save the device config.

I've tried modding the PAL entry for the maui-iii for my NTSC version in direct.ini
in every variation I can imagine but no joy.

Any ideas would be welcome.
The card works fine with it's "native" Movie Mill application.

TIA,
Littlalex

This sound like you havent entered the correct names for the NTSC model.

Most devices, like the hauppauge ones, use the same names for the PAL and NTSC models. This wasnt the case with the Maui-III. I only have access with the PAL model, and dont know the names for the NTSC model.

I'm guessing you just tried replacing 'PAL' with 'NTSC'? Thats possibly not the correct names. You should check the names using GraphEdit.

This seems like something that someone could diagnose without too much information, so I'll start with just this question but if you need more info about my setup let me know:

Just installed the new version on a clean, newly-built machine. When in live TV mode, I get a small block digit in the upper right hand corner. It is either a red "2" or a yellow "3"

Anyone know what this is?
