If so then unfortunately it hasn't made a difference (ie. non post processing still causes gb-pvr to crash)
No it didnt.

If the main menu screen was a different resolution from the OSD, the mouse clicks werent registering in the correct place.

sub Wrote:JesperTheViking, I see you logs refer to a "ASUS MyCinema 7131 Dual", which I dont have listed in my BDA.ini. Did you add this card manually yourself in the past? If so, you'll probably find the file was replaced during the upgrade. The only files retained during the upgrade are config.xml and GBPVR.mdb.

:o Yes, I have. I am sorry to have waisted your time on this one. I have corrected my BDA.INI and now it works again.

Thank you Sub.

If you want to supply your definition for this card, I'll add it to the master file.

I've just done a new install. Previous version was 0.95.16 but I'm changing a lot of bits, so installed from scratch.

With the MVP I seem to have lost skipping back and forth in short steps - I get FF & FR. Skipping in big steps still works fine. Set for using dongle.bin.
I have the box ticked for "use short skip instead of FF/FR" and config.xml contains:-

<SkipInsteadOfFFRW>true</SkipInsteadOfFFRW>
<SkipInsteadOfFFRWSeconds>10</SkipInsteadOfFFRWSeconds>
<DefaultSkipSecondsForward>60</DefaultSkipSecondsForward>
<DefaultSkipSecondsBack>30</DefaultSkipSecondsBack>
<ManualSkipTimebase>Minutes</ManualSkipTimebase>

Any thoughts welcome - I'm getting dizzy with FF/FR.

regards and many thanks.

This is a known problem. I'll fix it v0.97.

Sorry - I tried 'search within this thread' but didn't spot it.

Thanks the rapid response.

Since upgrading to latest release from previous version I have been having

"MVPWorkerThread - Connection lost, waiting a new one"

reported in the log file whilst playing music in both "music library2" and "music player" plugins

before this upgrade system has been rock solid, and I am not aware of anything changing elsewhere in my setup.

anybody any thoughts as to what may be the cause

Which dongle are you using? Do you get the same thing if you try the built in Music Library?

ZIp and attach your logs and I'll take a look.

Newish database (install today), XMLTV-GUI grabbing radio times listings.
No pending, no reccurring, no conflicts.

From TV Guide record BBC2 "have I got old news for you" today 2200-2230, pick record season, all this daily timeslot.
Fine, reccurring shows 22:00-22:30, pending 06/03/2005 22:00-22:30 and 11/03/2006 22:00-22:20

Back to guide, record DOC "have I got 2001 news for you" today 23:00-23:40, pick record season, all this daily timeslot.
CONFLICT shows "have I got 2001 news for you" 06/03/2006 21:30-00:30

The above were the only scheduled recordings. I had to stop investigations as program one is coming up in a moment and I set them up via the guide as 'record once' and both accepted. ten minutes to go - hpefully I won't get shot by the other half.

I've not had this before, but I moved to the new version and new XML source at the same time. Another change is that I have two 'capture sources' both the same PVR150, but BBC2 above is on the first as normal RF in and DOC is a satellite channel coming in on a fixed RF channel - the same RF cable from the satellite box.

regards
