I have the latest version of GB-PVR and a Hauppage 350 card. I have Charter Cable (with a DCT-2224 STB). I built an IR Blaster (that works, at least part of the time, I can change channels and power on/off the STB with WLIRC. I'm not sure how to test this further, I couldn't get it to change channels when I told GB-PVR to do so)
How do I get GB-PVR to accept input from the Hauppage remote to change channels, start recording, stop recording, whatever... how do I get GB-PVR to change the STB to the right channel when I've got something set to record? At the moment, I am manually tuning to the correct channel when I leave the house and leaving it to record, this works, but if I'm gone for the weekend lets say, and want to record Stargate on Friday and Paintball on Sunday, I can't because it records SciFi on Sunday instead of WGN (or whatever channel it's on) as I'm not there to change the channel on the STB.
I'd be happy to post whatever configs or info you need to help me figure this out... oh, and sometimes when I'm watching live TV through GB-PVR and hit the "Home" key to turn TV-out off, it hangs my machine and requires a hard boot to get it back up and running... any ideas there?
Thanks!
Mike
