RSSReader and GMail ?

Has anyone been able to get the RSSReader plugin to work with GMail? I understand there is a way to access your GMail account via RSS but I have been unsuccessful in adding it to RSSReader so I am wondering if anyone else has had any luck? Thought it would be great to do since I simply want to be able to read new emails you know.

The rss feed dosn't allow you to read the full email. Can only inform you of new email and some details including sender, subject, date/time and a 100ish charactor summary.
Just this morning I was thinking of writing a plugin similar to Google's own 'Gmail Notifier' after discovering gmail has an RSS feed. But if the RSS plugin can already do it then all the better. So, a bump for this? Can the RSS plugin do it...?

I think this would be great! I was going to get another email account other than hotmail (after a few years i cant be bothered filtering the masses of spam i get now!) to use for family and friends, gmail would be obvious especially if i can see it on the tellybox.
Only prob is i need an invite! Anyone fancy inviting me to join gmail? email is stuartphillips8080@hotmail.com Thanks in advance

Eta maybe a few weeks (busy working on my shuttle at the mo). The notifier part is done, all thats left todo is a bit of work on the gui, and adding suport for account config. Will post soon
