Import HTML to wiki

I just happened to find a thing on the net to help Documenters (like me) write in an HTML editor and convert to our Wiki Format.

But if I understand it correctly, something still has to happen on our side, (patch or settings) to allow the resulting php file.

Maybe I'm talking out of my ***hat*** but I thought you might like a look at this page...

When I write stuff, it's in pretty basic format. A couple of test pages I wrote converted very well.

Just wondered what your thoughts were...

Well there's some icon buttons to help you out when editing a wiki page, and you can always hit "preview" to see what it looks like. This is perhaps not exactly what you want, but it's a start. (FYI there are at least one person trying to integrate unverse.net stuff into pmwiki...)

Regarding import of html, there are some converters "out there", a couple of them are:

CPAN - HTML-WikiConverter-PmWiki, (there's an online version availible),

A Litte VIM script to help changing HTML Pages into PmWiki Files..
