I found a copy of Videoredo. It looks pretty good so far. I'm not sure if it is rendering or dumuxing. I don't really know much about how mpegs work so I'm a little lost when you guys talk about this stuff. All I know is it took just about 3 minutes to cut out a bunch of stuff from a 90 minute mpeg file and there doesn't seem to be any quality loss. Anyone know what method videoredo uses to cut videos.
Does anyone have a good command line Divx/Xvid encoder. The one built into gbpvr doesn't preserve the quality plus the files are still pretty big. I download lost episodes offline and they are usually 350MB and have excellent quality. I want to know what they are using to make these videos. When I try to convert an hour show recorded in gbpvr the quality suffers and the files are still over a gig.
