Skins - Flash, animated gifs or mng

Hello,

How feasible would it be to have flash , gif or .mng animation in skins? Im not suggesting a skin resembling a live circus, but something subtle that allowed buttons and backgrounds to change color over time to alleviate the problem of burn-in....

Could also make a highlighted option/button more visible on a tv screen.

Just a thought?

I not that knowledable with these things but I believe the problem lies with the MVP , its hard to update the screen to do animations.
