No metadate.xml

V96.12 & dual Nova-T pci

I tried viewing the metadata for a mpg recording & it doesnt exist.
I made another recording with no post processing & still no metadata.

eg notepad \path\somefile.mpg:metadata.xml doesnt show anything

What am I dong wrong?

Are you using NTFS or FAT32?

Sorry, I'm not sure then. The metadata stream is not created with FAT32, which was my first thought.

If you've moved or copied the files, this could also possibly result in the metadata being lost.

I am getting the same thing...

I'm not sure when the Metadata gets created (at the start or the end of a recoding), but it doesn't seem to get created...

I am using a Windows XP full NTFS system. Only thing I could think of is that I am using a different language version of XP (dutch), and maybe that my recording directory isn't on the C-drive....

I'd love to get this working (saves another tweak, I'm using the "XExport" thingy for now).....

I have checked on a recoding in progress, but I don't see the file then either.

I have "renamerecording" running, but I don't see the file showing up in there either....

Hope someone can give a pointer in the right direction...
