Fot those using TMPGEnc Plus 2.5 This template will take any did rip down est. Say 2 hour movie is ripped with dvd shrink. Which you can get here Doom9 For free Compress it to 4.0gb and then demutiplex encode the m2v file in Plus 2.5 and load this template it will reduce the size in half if not more with no quality effect that i can tell, have been using it for a long time..Of course you will need to encode ac3 audio to mp2 multiplex and now you have average file size of 1.9 to 2.5 est...Depends on length of movie..For example i have lord of the rings return of the king down to 3.1gb with no quality loss..Remember this is for home use only Obey all copyright laws..I did not write this template and am not taking credit, it can be found @kvcd

dvdshrink takes my movies down to between 1.9 and 2.5 GB on average anyway...

it may on recordings, but dvd rips that low you loose way too much quality, but hey what ever floats your boat..
