By folder do you mean when GBPVR groups shows together into the same show name?

If you do then i could add an option to group them into a user-defined show and use the subtitle for the actual show name.

I just tried it and it seems fine to me. It just ignored the jpg file as i expected it to.

Can you give me more detailed information. Like the error message you get when it crashes. Or even a screen grab of the message.

Regards.

Yes, that's exactly what I mean. That would be awesome thanks! Smile

Hi Sixgun, sorry about the delay. My computer (no not the gbpvr machine) crashed on me and I had to reformat and reinstall.

It is not because of the jpg's the error occours. I found that out. I have not found any pattern yet. I have tried with different folders, some work others do not.

I have a danish windows xp sp2, .net version 1.1.
My recordings are on drive E:
The full path is E:\recording\recordings\
Some of the folders have danish letters in the name.

Error message: (translated from danish - sorry)
The program has create an exception which could not be executed.
process id 0x318(792), thread id 0xeb4(3764)

and:

There is no registered JIT debug software available.

cordbg.exe

I hope you can help.

Regards

Sixgun,
Any chance of an option to import other file extensions? I have a ton of .WMV movies from my former PVR ?

Would you be able to send me the folder names, ideally the whole folder structure would be nice. It sounds as though MpegImport isn't dealing with the danish characters.

Hi,

Just posted up a new version of MpegImport.

It should address all the requests made recently!

From the wiki :-

Quote:Version 0.6 (17–04–2006)

* Moved to .NET Framework v2.0
* New - Setup
* New - Improved GUI
* New - Configuration file support
* New - Support for multiple file extensions
* New - Option to run GBPVR with “-import” parameter to actually do the import
* New - Command line support

MpegImport /run=yes /folder=“D:\PVR\Recordings” /output=“D:\recordings-dump.xml” /channel=“BBC 1″ /showname=“My Imported Recordings”

/run=yes
this will automatically run MpegImport with no user intervention,
settings are picked up from the configuration file,
unless they’re overridden by the other command line arguments

/folder=“D:\PVR\Recordings
overrides the folder to be imported

/output=“D:\recordings-dump.xml”
overrides the import file to be generated

/channel=“BBC 1″
overrides the channel to use when it cannot be determined automatically

/showname=“My Imported Recordings”
specify a single showname for the entire import

/extensions=“mpg;wmv”
overrides the extensions of files to import
