I just had a major crash,(right in the middel of my wifes recording of world champs figue skating, I might as well just lie down and die!)

It seems as my GBPVR.mdb file is currupt. Tried fixing it in access but get the same error message as when tring to go in to Confi.exe

Error: The Micorsoft Jet database engine has stopped the prcess because you and another user are attempting to change the same data at the same time

Any ideas???

Helllllpppppppp

You're probably screwed. Access isnt reknowned for being very fault tolerant.

If its got a .ldb file, its worth deleting that first. You probably also want to make sure you're not running Access at the same time.

Reinstalled. so I'm up and running.

Since I couldn't export the recordings xml file, I can import into the new install. However made a link in the video libary to my existing recordinds.

Wish the was a way to tell gbpvr to import the recordings by scanning the recordings folder.

There are some utilities on the wiki that do this.

Also, each night just before the EPG update, GB-PVR creates a file called recording-dump.xml which can be imported with the 'import recordings' button in the config app.
