Channnel changer plugin

Sub. Whats required to write a channel changer plugin? I have a directv (sat tv in the states) receiver that can be controlled by a serial connection and was thinking of adding that changer.

You've probably noticed the IChannelChanger interface in GBPVRPublic.dll. You need to implement this interface, but I'd need to add some hooks for GB-PVR to dynamically load this type of plugin. I'll add it to the todo list.

For his type of request I implemented the ".exe channel changer" instead. There wasnt any in-process plugin model added.

I thought so but wanted to confirm. .exe channel changer it is.

Is {channel} the only paramter that can be passed from GBPVR? I couldn't find any documentation/posts on anything else.
