I've installed per the instructions (I think), but can't config it (settings button is grayed out). I get "instance of an object error" when selecting it in the app.

Also, skin.xml has to go in 'GmailNotifier' folder, not 'gmail' as it says in wiki.?

Woops, will update this.

Can you post your config.exe log, will take a look and see what the problem is. Have you extrated the atom dll to the gbpvr folder?

Same problem as Roy settings button greyed out.

Sorry guys, I did put an old dll in the zip . Wiki has been updated, please download again.

ps. the skin folder is 'Gmail', like the wiki states.

Settings button accessable, and can setup username and password. Now when I select my account it fails to connect to the gmail server. The gbpvr.exe.log contains the line

PC can connect to gmail through Internet Explorer ok, and there is no firewall on the PC

Thanks for your log. I've found its best to use your full email address as the username.

What happens when you type https://mail.google.com/mail/feed/atom into Internet Explorer? This is the atom feed link the plugin uses.

Also is it still reporting the same error?

This error is a problem with the atom feed parser. I had it when I had new unread emails in my inbox with dodgey dates, does it still error with a clear inbox?
