Hi gang - My soyo main board fried yet again, so I'm starting from scratch and plan to go with a new pc to mediaMVP connection instead of spending the same money on a nicer video card with TV out.

Only problem - Radioshack manager in city of buffalo claims radioshack never sold mediaMVP; obviously a $40 MVP wasn't found. So if you guys could post to this board when a deal, or rebate is available, I'd appreciate it... thanks

I got the same reaction when I went to Radio Shack, but when I gave them their part number for it, they were able to search the surrounding area and find several for me. If they are far away you can pay your local store and the store that has them will ship them up to your store for you for free. They would not let me purchase over the phone and ship to my house, but as it was, them paying the shipping to my local store was a better deal anyway. First I bought 2, and then last week I went back and bought the last 1.

Their part number is 25-3215. They should be able to look it up for you over the phone.

Good luck,
Tim

Radio Shack rocks! $35 for an MVP! Bought over the phone from a store in NJ shipping from a store on the other side of PA! Sweet deal!

I found two more MVP's at a local radio shack. $39.99 each. Anyone want me to pick one up for them?

Do they have the 45 button remote? If so, I wouldnt mind getting a second one. Even with shipping costs to New Zealand, its still cheaper than buying one locally.

The one I picked up at my local Radio Shack a few weeks ago came with the older 34 button remote, so it seems likely that a lot of their "clearance" stock is rather old.
