Alright can somone explain to me why I wake up with all my shows ending up on one channel........

This drives me so crazy...

I thought he meant one day he just realized all the shows he watched were on NBC or something. I figured it was possible he woke up one day as the perfect demographic or something....

All my recordings end up on the wrong station.....
Like all of them will be on the weather channel as if the damn thing couldnt change the channel throughout the night......

Seems like if works fine all day then night time comes and the ir blaster doesnt want to work...

I think that i might have an idea
Is your cable box on /off at night when you go to sleep

I don't use an ir blaster for my pvr but for my tv in the living room
if i turn of the cable box it will still play the last channel that it was on (and that is the only thing it will play) but you have no control over it

yes the cable box is left on at night.....

I don't touch the cable box ever....

Almost sounds as if the cable box is scheduling updates or something at night...

If you schedule something at night (when it fails) and then also early in the morning, (when you are awake and can check if the channel are changing), does it work again?

Ya it works again...

in the morning though my first reaction is to restart the ir blaster and recording services....

so are u asking does it work without doing anything???
cause i dont think ive tryd it without restarting everything

alright....tongiht at 3 it started messing up.....

I think it has to do with the epg update.....
