How many recordings do you have? Do you have a slow machine? Or heavily fragmented drive?
I'm concerned that its taking to long for the your machine to show the recordings screen. If the MVP doesnt get its response in about 8 seconds, it'll disconnect and give an error like the one you mentioned. Your logs also seem to indicate this is what is happening.
