Is it possible to just install the MVP streaming module without the full install of GB-PVR? I was hoping to avoid having to install all the other pre-requisite software since I won't be using the live video or recording features at this time. I just want to play MPG files already on the drive.

You need to install everything, but you dont need setup a capture source if you're not intending to use the recording or tv features. You can also remove those menu options you dont (TV Guide/Live TV/Recordings etc).

TKGAFS - The original Hauppage software is just awful!

SUB - Thanx for your quick reply. Is there a version of GB-PVR available that allows me to use a Diseqc switch with 2 LNB's? I thought I read something about that not being ready yet?

You can already use 2 LNBs with a diseqc switch if you have a Twinhan DVB-S card. Unfortunately there is no standard that covers this, so I need to do a specific implementation for each and every card - I've only done twinhan cards at this stage.
