Could you add an option to allow the user to choose to supress "The " in the artists name if the name starts with "The "

for example so that "The Beatles" appear under Beatles in the listing

Another useful change would be a visual prompter of some sort to show that there were more albums by an artist if you scroll down

this is really needed if somebody other than youself is browsing your collection

When I have tracks in the playlist, is it possible to navigate through the list and remove certain tracks which havent been played yet

A useful option would be that if I select random play, then if the user wants it, the playlist would automatically refill if it gets to the end of the current playlist

Cool.. All good suggestions. Suggestions much better than problems :-)

All of your ideas are good, and should be possible. I'll keep them all documented for the next release.

Hi back again with another suggestion,

This one is a bit harder to do I would think,

would it be possible to be able in the config part of the plugin to define seperate folders which are used like different collections. This would allow different people to have different music collections within the same setup, yet they would not have to listen to each others music particularly if random mode is playing. In my own case it would allow my son,daughter and myself all to have different sets of music available to be played on the PC or MVPs.

Simplest method I thought could be used would be to simply use a different DB for each collection or add a column to the table defing the collection the track belonged to.

Certainly possible, and yeah a bit harder. I think that might be a release 3 type thing. I'll keep it on the list of things to look at.

Great plugin, no problems found yet another feature request / clarification

* ability to move fast through the artists (i have ripped my entire CD-collection and contains > 5000 songs). Is it possible to jump to artists starting with A, B etc

* how do i play an entire album if i only know the album-name; correct me if i'm wrong, but i see the main entry is the artist

* display albumart/folder.jpg

Sorry, should have put that in the wiki. Yes. Use your remote like a cell phone i.e press 2 jumps to A, press again jumps to b, then c then 2 then back to A.

No way to string letters together sorry, just first letter.

Should be able to hit right to get to the album list then go and find the one you want.
