combining pvr's

ok this may sound tricky, i have a three tuner box downstairs, it does all my recordings ect for the tv in the living room, i have another pc upstairs that id like to use as another front end to watch recordings on my tv upstairs is this possiable with gb-pvr, will it detect recordings on a shared drive?

You'll be able to watch the recordings via the 'video library' screen, but they wont show up in the recordings screen.

If you just want to view the recordings and not schedule new recordings. You can install xrecord provide one of the video paths to the network drive. In config for the plugin set merge on.
And schedule xexport to run in the post update epg.bat you will get all of the shows in the ready with the epg data.

You can view schedule and recordings, and view the EPN if you share the database across a network. I presently have this working.
