I've currently set up my postprocessing.bat file to automatically extract commercials using Comskip and VideoReDo. Now I'm looking to add some stuff to that batch file to autocompress the video, to save on HD space.
VirtualDub seems to have a good set of command line options (so it can be set to execute in a batch file) but my question would be the output file.
Say I started with:
<show name>.mpg
and ended up with
<show name>_orig.mpg
and
<show name>.avi
Would GBPVR play the file correctly if the extension is changed? Can GBPVR even handle playing DivX encoded AVI files at all?
