Started late or ended early

Is there a way to determine if a recording started late or ended early?

For instance, say I have a show scheduled to record all season. I boot up the PC after the show has started, and GBPVR starts recording as soon as it's up.

Any way to know that it didn't start when the show actually began?

After the fact, no, other than the recording being shorter than you expected. You could probably look at the creation date/time on the file.
