Hi Sub,

First of all, v17 looks much better. In particular the colors for the EPG are nice. And now with the jukeobx it is a very versatile program.

However, Yesterday I realised that the EPG is not up to date. As you may remember I use vtplus and a home-made script to extract the epg information from teletext. But, since v017 of gbpvr there is an interference between vtplus and the gbpvrrecordingservice.

When I start vtplus when the recordingservice is running, the process vtplus32 is created (see taskmanager), but no window appears. When I stop the process gbpvrrecordingservice, vtplus runs normally; my script is run and I get an updated EPG. Running gbpvr itself appears to have no influence.

Up and with v016 I've never had this problem! Any clue to what can be wrong?

BTW I like the recordingservice icon. Although I think it should be red when recording, green when idle.

Though I know it is not nice to answer on own postings, I think I should mention the following:

I've created a work around that starts vtplus, with the script to download the program pages, after first stopping the GBPVR recordingservice. This works most of the times.

Oh, and i just interchanged the filenames of the recordingservice icons. So now, for me, red=recording, green=idle.

Hi,
sorry, but i don't have an answer to your problem, but i would be interested in getting your script to use the hauppauge PVR-card as source for the XMLTV-EPG stuff.
Is your software open source???
Greetings,

Superman,

You may download the latest version from: this site

Please note, it is still a bit rough and configuration may cause a bit of a headache. But I use it daily and there are no problems, except for an occasional wrongly received or saved page by vtplus.

Please read the readme file, otherwise you will get lost. It is assumed that vtplus is installed and is working properly and that you have channelnames assigned to your stations.

At this moment you have to stop the gbpvr recordingservice before starting vtplus (and restart the service afterwards). You can use the start and restart batchfiles in the gbpvr directory for that, or create you own.

BTW. it cannot take detail program information from another txt-page than on the one that contains the listing.

If you have any feedback, please keep me posted.
