The Collection: Reorganizing

There are too many Collections around here.

1. The Pastoral Collection
   
2. The Floral Collection
   
3. The SciFi Collection
   
4. The Christmas Collection
   
5. The Color Collection
   
6. The Color Collection SE
   
7. and coming soon, The Color Collection LX
   

After the holidays, The Christmas Collection will retire.

I'm thinking of merging the Pastoral, Floral, and SciFi Collections into a single system, The ??? Collection, but will continue to release new theme packs.

I'm also thinking of retiring The Color Collection as I expect The Color Collection SE to replace it.

Then there's the Color Collection LX...

I tried xrecord but ran into problems and didn't see any work-arounds. I'll give it another shot, but I do have a couple of things on my todo list.

I have updated the image in the thread starter post. The new image reflects an improvement in the "curves" and shows off the plastic bezel, which I personally like better.

The reason it didn't look as good last night is because I simply didn't know how to do it last night. I am learning as I go.

I'm learning a lot of new tricks. I'm also thinking of changing my screen name to "Old Dog"!

Attached are two copies of xrecord one which works with colour collection se [and probably colour collection as well] and one for christmas collection

neither are perfect by any means but they are useable

this plugin seems to have a hardcoded bit when the popup comes up to ask if you want to restart or resume a recording as it seems to be white text on a white background which is a touch difficult to read, I certainly have been unable to discover which bit of the skin deals with it
