Hello, new to the forums. I recently had a hauppage pvr-160 with windows-mce. Worked o.k. Recently reformated with just plain old windows xp pro, of course the pvr-160 only works with windows mce, so i returned it and picked up an ATI HDTV Wonder. Searched the web and GB-PVR seems to be the best tv tuner software out there. The software that came with my card is really horrible. Problem is i couldn't get it working with gb-pvr. I searched these forums and many other forums, and couldn't find out a way to get it working. Any ideas? thanks in advanced.

A PVR150 would have worked fine with XP Pro.

Its pretty manual setting up ATSC HDTV cards in GB-PVR, but you'll fine a page describing it here: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Confi...HDTVSource

Ok thanks, i'll give it a try. I had a pvr-160, not a 150. It must have been 1 out of a million, becasue i never saw it mentioned on hauppauge's site and i never got support, so i vowed never to buy from them again.

The PVR-160 is just another name for the Hauppauge Roslyn, which also works fine with WinXP Pro and with GB-PVR.

Doh, wish i would have known that before i returned it, oh well. Oh, having another problem now, I followed that guide and got all of the HD channels working, but how do i get the regular channels working! I'm getting an error message "Error: Index was outside the bounds of the array."

Been messing around, still can't figure out how to configure it manually for normal channels.

Does the HDTV wonder support hardware encoding of analog channels? My guess is that it doesn't. GBPVR only supports hardware encoder cards.

Where do you get that error exactly?

Zip and attach your logs and I'll see if I can see anything.

I know it can handle analog channels, it did before when i tried the crappy software that came with it. There's two differen't inputs though, i'm not sure if that's the problem or not, but searched the folders and couldn't find the logs.
