How do people generally handle the STB? How do you keep yourself and your family from switching channels during the time GBPVR is recording something off it? Rolleyes
I'm not always right
GB-PVR 1.2.9
Accent HT-400 Case, AMD Athlon 64 3800+ 1024MB, 1TB+300GB+180GB, WinXP Pro-SP2, NVidia 7600GT
Nova-T USB2, PVR-350 recording from Dilog 355 DVB-T box, USB-UIRT (receiving & transmitting)

take batterys out of the stb's remote lol

Celeron 2.4, 1gig ram. Insight P4-ITX (mini-itx) mobo, 250w Shuttle silent PSU, slmline DVD rewriter, 40gig system HDD, 150gig Media HDD, Dual Riser holding Hauppauge PVR 350 and Nova-T, along with Nova-T USB2. MCE Remote 2005. Antique Art-Deco Radio for use as case when uncle finds one...

Well, the problem is that we don't use GBPVR for live tv, I guess... maybe we need to start doing that now that we only have an STB to watch off. I don't like the idea of having to have the computer on all the time, though. Maybe I seriously need to look into making it quieter =)

careful though, once you get the silencing bug its hard to know where to stop:o
