My Pictures on MVP

I know Reven does not have an MVP but I am interested in getting it work on the MVP. I just installed the plugin and it works well on the PC but the button does not even show up on the MVP screen. Any ideas? I am using the Christmas collection skin. (it also does not show up on the blue skin)

do you by any chance have the mvp skin set differently than on the pc? It also took me a bit of playing to get my pictures working. If you need it i can upload my directories for my pictures on the christmas collection skin.

Thanks Nightwalker, I am using the same skin on both. The button does not show up on either blue or Christmas. Odd. Anyway, it also seems to give me another problem. It seems that it somehow hurts net radio over the MVP. Net radio looks like it is loading a station (even tells me what song is playing) then says "can't connect to station" or something like that. I tried a half a dozen channels and it was the same each time. I then pulled the my pictures plugin and the database that you also have to install. All is well again with the net radio. I then tried the old picture plugin that Pilot suggested on another thread. It seems to work fine, however I would like to use it over a network drive and it seems to balk at that. My goal is to have last years pictures playing over the MVP on Christmas morning with net radio Christmas songs playing in the background. I may just move over the files to the PVR box and use the Pictures plugin for now. I still want to sort out My Pictures eventually since Reven is still developing it.

Not sure if it makes a difference here but what version of my pictures are you using. i know there were a couple of them as Reven was working on it. here i'm using the MyPictures3[1].0.1Beta.zip. It's been working fine except it doesn't do playlists, except those generated by my music, which i don't use. I do recall a version or two of the beta's that didn't do well.

I am using the latest on the WIKI. It say 3.0.0.0 on the wiki but I really don't know if that is current or not.

I think you'll need to check with Reven on this one. Looking at the numbers it seems my beta, downloaded from the fourms here, is later than the Wiki version.

yeah theres is another beta around the forums, i havent added it to the wiki yet since my music 3 or my vids 5 may require me to change something things (common skin and a few other things).

people have reported its a much better version though (i cant remember exaclty what the difference between the beta and the final are though).
