Hi everybody,

can I use the pvr 500 with windows xp only or does it have to be the windows media center edition?

I would like to run the card just using windows xp an nothing more.

Thanks for your efforts,Smile

A 500 will run fine under standard XP - you don't need MCE.

Guys, you are great, thx for the fast response!!!

Btw, pvr 500 = pvr 500 mce? If not, pvr 500 mce makes no mess with xp, right?

Cheers,

todd

The "MCE" extention on the card, only means that it's approved to work with MCE. It does NOT mean that you must have MCE to use this card.
I have 4 of them in various systems, and they all work with gbpvr in "regular" XP.
You can never have enough tuners!
