Hi again!

This question is primarly for sub or anyone else, who owns a WinTV PVR-150.

I am using GB-PVR 95.16, 2 x PVR-150 and german Teletext. After a hint from sub, that german TeleText would only work with the configuration "Encoder pass-through" i changed this one.

But here are my problems:
Live TV is stuttering! My pictures lose it's synchronisation with audio and will stop after a while of watching or channel changing.

I am using currently the latest driver from the german Hauppauge Website, because the picture quality is better, then from the american one. I installed the amity2 driver upgrade too, because the lost of remote control @ nForce Chipsets after ~30 Minutes.

Which Driver/Filter are recommended for the using with Encoder-Pass-Through? Without Encoder-pass through there are no problems with picture/audio, but not TeleText too Undecided

PVR-150:
Intervideo Filter:
etc. pp

The DirectX 9.0b replacement quartz.dll doesn't work, the version 9.0b works for me very bad, because of this i changed back to the 9.0c version.

Help, please... Sad

To be honest, pretty much everyone here is running with 'encoder pass-through', so would have thought any driver version or decoder should have been alright.

I would have suggested this. This seems like the most likely cause to me.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your logs and I'll take a look.

Hello,

I have a pritty much similar setup. I had problems with out of sync sound with the Nvidia purevideo decoder.

The funny thing is that I had an old system with SIS chipset and ATI video card running with the Nvidia pureevideo decoder flawlessly and after upgrading to Nforce chipset and nvidia 6200 video card the purevideo decoder caused problems (otherwise the setup was identical). The Hauppauge codec or the windvd codec both work fine in the newer setup.

Should be? Yes Is so? No, sorry..., not by me Big Grin But as i know you, i am sure you'll find my "weakpoint" within my logs Wink

I'll tried different DirectX 9.0b quartz.dll's. The Result was really bad, i NEVER had a synchronised Live TV even without EncoderPassThrough. With 9.0c quartz.dll it's running very smooth without EncoderPassThrough (Audio and Video)

Here are my logfiles, i am full of hope, that you'll point out the error... Smile

It's "normal" for the NVIDIA PureVideo Decoder. This CoDec uses sometimes the Pixelshader on NVIDIA GPU's. This asynchron symptoms could be observed @ Windows Media Player too, Microsoft brought out a Patch 3 or 4 month ago.

Something isn't working well within the NVIDIA PureVideo Decoder.

*sigh*, ok... i don't even know how to log something like this. I am not a programmer, thus i don't know, how to describe the problem in detail.

Perhaps it's one or too programs which are running at same time. Years ago i made the experience, that two programs (Trillian and K*z*a) couldn't run well at same time with programs, which used overlay-functions. Perhaps my Messenger Trillian interrupt there. I'll test it out.

Thank you, sub =)

Really crazy... the problem won't go. The curios thing is: More channels i change, slower the Live TV and the asynchronisation will be... Undecided If i zap through all the channels, the framerate drops below something viewable. Slowmotion in it's bestform.
