Looking for expert advice

I am stationed in Germany and want to get something HDTV. Although I can get a better price on the economy I don't believe anything I get would work back in the states once I move back. Can't find a place that would ship me one either so I am stuck shopping at the PX. They have a 26 inch LG that I like and the price is not too bad. All I really know is to look at the picture and if it looks good then it most be good. Well the picture is nice and bright and looks sharp to me but I am afraid if I get it I may find later that I am missing something. Looking at the specs is like looking at a bunch of random numbers on a piece of paper. I just do not understand all of them. maybe some of you who do know could look at them and tell me what you think. My goal would be to connect it to my analog cable system AFN and the german channels I get here. Connect my GBPVR PC directly to it and maybe even add a digital-t card in there for the German channels. The TV can be found here http://au.lge.com/md/product/prodcategor...100000387#

That is the one. It would be a replacement for my TV though. I don't have $1200 laying around just to replace my PC monitor. I currently have a 32" TV so I would lose a couple of viewing inches. Problem with buying a TV over here in the PX is that they do not carry straight 110 volt NTSC. All they have is 110-240 volt Multi-standard systems and that drives the prices up. I may just go with the SVID connection first and see how that works for now.
