Can anyone please comment on likely reasons for this failure in the log below?
I doubt the system was particularly heavily loaded at the time this happened.
Showed on recording status page as recording, ended with zero size file.

It should not have been Sub, there should have been choice of 2 x tuners available at that time.

Fyi, Family made about 10 other good recordings in last 24 hours, only 1 lost.

I also noticed in GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native log that the same error happened yesterday during the scheduled epg update, so the error I had tonight is not a one off.

You're not running on Windows Media Center? If so, that can be holding the devices in use in the back ground. Thats about the only thing I can think of that might lead to that error (or something is wrong with the drivers).

No media edition, just plain old XP here.

If this error didn't ring a bell for you then I'll cut and run and make a re-install of gb-pvr and see if that clears it.

Was all working quite well with only occasional zero files with no logged error which I put down to mux issues before this. Hopefully after a clean up and reinstall I can be back where I was.

Thanks again for your help.
