Can anybody help get the "Record Season (all in in this weekly timeslot, this channel)" working? Currently when I select this option, GBPVR will record multiple episodes of a show if they are on before or after the selected time slot. This is creating several conflicts. Is there anything i can do to fix this?

By default the timeslot is defined as the start time of the original recording plus or minus 2hrs to allow for variances in the broadcast times. If you look at these shows, you'll see they fall in this period.

Just on this, and it probably wont help the chap. But is there a way....or could there be a way of, if there are 2 programs back to back to ignore the pre-padding figure of the second one.

Probably only of concern to people with one tuner.

It does already ignore the pre/post-padding which would cause an overlap on back to back recordings with only one tuner.

padding is concidered optional, and only applied if the tuner is already scheduled to be in use for some other task.

so this problem im experiencing is by design?? I hate to gripe, but shouldn't a recording only record when it is supposed to?

Yes, its by design. The scheme I describe generally works well, and meets most peoples needs.

If you dont want it to do this +/-2hr thing, then you can set the following setting in config.xml <AllowableTimeslotVariance>0</AllowableTimeslotVariance>....but dont come complaining when the show starts late one week and its not recorded.

excellent! i appreciate the tip. I see how the current 2 hour variance would benefit most people, especially if they have multiple tuners.

You won't hear any further complaints on this from me! thanks!
