File types/extensions - Can you help?

For the files plugin I want to add the ability to filter by type. For this I want to have groups of files extensions with a label. The current list is below.

Music mp3,mp1,mp2,ogg,wav,wma,aac

Video avi,mpeg,3gp,mpeg,mp4,mov,wmv,divx,ogm,vob

Office doc,xls,ppt,mdb,pdf,rtf

Pictures jpg,jpg,bmp,png,raw,img

Programs exe,bat,com

All (no filter)

Do you know any file types (extensions) which need to be added to the groups above? Or ideas for other groups?

you should add iso. why not let the user decide? even let the user add those filters! for instance one could add a filter "images" and add the types iso, cue.

This is what I'm going to do, set up will be similar to setting favorites . I would like to include a default filter.txt with the download.

Out of interest what is a .cue file?

same thing as iso. all about images ;-)

.bin and .cue files are image files created by cdrwin which is cd burning software similar to Nero!

Oh and if you're gonna add iso and cue then ought to add .img too

Looks like an image label might be in order.
