I posted Comskip 0.79 build 19
It can be downloaded from here

Changes in 0.79.19
- Converted the documentation from rtf to html format
- Improved identification of commercials
- Added a play_nice_sleep parameter to the ini file to allow configuration of the processor load
- Fixed a bug causing play_nice_start and play_nice_end in the ini file not to work .

I haven't updated in a while (like at least last 4-5 versions maybe), but is it auto-handling errors now? Before, I would have a show or two that would throw a dos windows error that had to be closed by hand. I accept it may hit a bump, but I'm hoping it can surpress/auto-handle errors/exceptions.

It looks like it was as far back as .72. It would happen rarely. A couple of times it happened it was shows from FX. It would throw an windows error you needed to use the keyboard to close.

It was very rare, like I said, but since it couldn't be supressed or handled by the remote, I needed to switch to SA.

Haven't tried this new version yet, but, I didn't so much like the recently modified wide timeline at the top of the debug window, only because the position redline can't be seen easily when at a cut point. I also noticed that timeline changes don't occur until the next movement, not upon initial key press (as it did previously I think).

Not complaining, just my 2 cents. Oh yeah, I like the new comskip forum logo. Cool

SA's biggest advantage is that it can supress errors/exceptions. I was a big fan of Comskip otherwise, and used it faithfully until then. I like SA's customizations, but I loved CS's simplicity.

Comskip 0.79 from build 23 onwards no longer requires user interaction when is encounters a fatal exception.
It will gracefully die with an error message and exit code 1.
