changing "ScheduleProgrammePopupBackground" in "Recordings"

sub it seems the "ScheduleProgrammePopupBackground" in the "Recordings" skin.xml is ignored and it just gets this from the tvguide skin.xml.

my tv guide has to be an exact resolution for the osd to work so thats fixed at 720x576, but ive got a WS tv so im using 856x480 for all the other menus. boring reasons i wont go into, just this popup is annoying me, its probably true about the "Manual Recording" screen aswel....

also this appears to be ignored in the live-skin.xml

also how do you change the "ManualRecordingControls" images in the "Recordings" plugin? ie change it from a rounded rect with a white border to say an image. i can find the composite images anywhere for this.

In the recording\skin.xml see the "ScheduleManualPopupBackground" composite image.

yeah that just changes the background image, i want to change the control images like
Channel:
Start Date:
etc.

also can you change how many items appear in the video library, ie change from 3x2 to 4x2 ?
