Still happening, even in the new version but have figured out some more. Don't think it's plugin.

By chance GB was left on channel 3 (FTA) the last time i tried live tv. So i went into it today to see if the last changes i'd made had any effect, and it went in perfectly so i thought i'd fixed it. Then i changed to sky one, this is on the saturn box, and the saturn box was on 50, and there we went, 100 % gbpvr.exe usage, and the recording service will need a restart.

I'm guess maybe usb-uirt the cause?? or the switch from coax to composite input source.

I'll post the logs again, but i don't think you were able to see any thing then.

Sorry no, I still cant see anything in the log. Maybe the PVR150 drivers dont like your machine? Maybe USB-UIRT? Maybe sharing an IRQ with a different device?

i did upgrade to those 2nd to last pvr drivers. The uirt hasn't changed. I might try reverting to the 23073 or something like that.

Well I think I've sorted it. In my music Library i had a panel and a screen saver. I've actually removed all of the code for those two items and it doesn't seem to have done it the last couple of days...it seems like the culprit. It's just a bit coincidental that i got rid of those and now two mornings straight i can go into live tv on FTA and from the cable box.

I have no idea how a plugin can be affecting the recording service since. I had checked the screensaver and panel to make sure they were not trying to use cpu or anything when tv was running and it didn't look like they did.

I might try and repackage them as their own dll, and try it again. If it does it again, could I pass them to you to have a quick look at to figure out what is causing it??

Yeah, I guess so.
