I think you can buy the cables through the JP1 forum, but I made my cable with about $5 worth of bits from radio shack; if I can do it, it must be easy
Once you have your cable, you will be able to learn the commands into your 8910, download them to the pc and edit them, create your own 'code' and then upload them back to the remote, thus saving memory in the 8910.
