Have anyone experience this with the pvr 150 card?

For the past THREE months I've been plagued by the speed up/return to normal frame mpeg speed occurance. I emailed hauppauge about this and they told me that I will have to return my card. The strange part about all of this is that I've seen the same phenomenon occur with my plextor m402u. I am suspicious of my volari v3 card's hardware video acceleration capabilities causing these problems as well. Also, this isn't related to GBpvr because the same error occurred in wintv2000. Is this an isolated incident?
