Ok I'm a newbie.....

I just spent 2 hours re-force-installing my gfx drivers on to get the video out working, only to realise when I run gbpvr I get the window border displayed on my tv because its an exact copy of whats on my monitor........

I have set the taskbar to autohide etc but what can I do about the blue bar at the top..

whats more annoying is my gf card has no overscan settings for desktop clone mode so I have a black border around it as well...

Playing an avi with media player makes the card do its 'dvd max' and the video out is then the playing avi file, even if I cover media player with the web browser the video out is still fullscreen with no borders.

(thats why I keep this old card, I have 3, you get fullscreen uninterupted playback on tv out and can do what you want to the vga out)

you can deactivate the 'show in window mode' checkbox in the config and gbpvr is displayed full screen without borders

or you can start gbpvr with the command line option -noframe. see the wiki

In the config app you have "run gbpvr in windowed mode", which you can turn on and off as you like.

Is it possible to start GBPVR in windowed mode from one shortcut, and then in fullscreen from another?

Instead of having to go through the config-program every time?

thx in advance

Hit Alt+Enter while GBPVR is running to toggle between the two modes.

The Alt-Enter sure changes the mode, but it screws up the position of the window. Besides it doesn't go back to fullscreen correctly. If I use fullscreen and then hit Alt-Enter, it goes into windowed mode, but it maintains the same size, as when it was fullscreen, and if I try to go back into fullscreen mode, the titlebar suddenly won't go away.

I've been looking at the wiki, to find some commandline to start the program in windowed mode, but without any luck. So far I've only been able to remove the frame and to set it to "Always on top".

So in one last desperate try, I'm going to ask if there's some commandline to start it in windowed mode, without having to use the config, or the Alt-Enter command??

If there isn't, then I guess I should take it up in the wishlist Smile

But anyway, thank you all very much for the quick responses..
