Hi, this might be better under an add-in addition, but I'm no programmer and maybe the developers of GBPVR would think it useful enough to include in the main build.

What I really wish I had was the ability to tell the program to watch for certian words in the program titles and if there is a match to notify me when it finds one. For example: I want to record Shawshank Redemption, but it isn't on in the next two weeks. I dont want to have to run this query every two weeks. I'd prefer to just tell the computer to look for 'shawshank' every day until it finds somthing.

This shouldn't be very hard, just schedule a daily query of the schedule DB and have it report somehow, but I have no idea how to do it.

The scheduler in XRecord does exactly what you want. You enter a search words and it will will record them as it comes along.

Good Call! I have asked for the exact same function on the Webadmin!

http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utili...edWebAdmin

"Save search query feature that can be configured to provide feedback on login about show now being found". http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=9...ostcount=1

I hope it's included at some stage and pops up a message like "Your saved searched for show containing the expression "ABC XYZ" may now be in the EPG, do you want to
(a) Record it
(b) Continue waiting for it to turn up
© Delete the search
(d) Insert your preference here.

Ton and I are working on CDK Scheduler support for the Web Admin. No time frame for release or integration yet, but we do have basic functionality working. The difference to your request, jksmurf, is that it will be scheduled to record when it is found, but you can specify the priority that search will take so that other recordings can happen instead if they conflict.

Awesome. Look forward to it :-)
