It would be extremely nice if prescheduled recording starts, GBPVR looks the length of the show and the quality settings and reserves that much space from filesystem. If the data recorded is less it releases the remaining reservations. If the data exceeds reserve then it reserves more space by 100MB chunks.
This feature would have benefit when using more than one tuner at a time. It is something like MS have done with its MCE MS-DVR format.
This feature/option should be switchable on/off from config.
