I am setting up GBPVR on a newish low-end machine with a celeron 2.4GB processor and on-board video. Things went pretty well, including the pvr150 install. Probably my biggest concern is the on-board vid but I am hoping!

However, there is one strange effect. In Livetv, on the computer screen, there is no OSD of the channel change/exit feature. Instead, the screen goes light milky white. I have cross checked against my machine's settings and I can't see any difference. The only vid decoder setting that will work is vmr9.

Any ideas appreciated.

Your on-board video probably shares system RAM. Try bumping up the amount of RAM in the bios, it might help. Other than that I would say disable the on-board vid and get a decent video card.

By default the Cyberlink decoders arent compatible with VMR9, which can cause symptons like you mention. If you create the following registry key it should help:

Code:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Cyberlink\PowerDTV\EnableVMR9=1 (DWORD)
