More useful netradio

I have a couple of favorit radio channels I would like to listen to through GBPVR.
But they are not avalible from shoutcast (only .asf feeds)

So therfore I wish that Screamer radio would be ported via gbPVR! OK, I can use it as a external program, but it would be better to have it built-in.

I can even consider to try and write a plugin that use the features in screamer, if it's possible and I get a little support in the beginning... (Like a tip on wich plug in to start re-building)

If you are just looking to play web radio streams other than Shoutcast within GBPVR, you can use the UbuStream plugin to do this. Since it can work with any player that can be invoked with an URL on the command line you can listen to just about any audio stream - asf/wma/etc. streams with WMP, MP3 streams with Winamp, RealAudio streams with RealPlayer (Screamer Radio can't do that, for instance) and just about anything else with VLC.

You could use UbuStream's list mode to pick radio stations from a list (similar to GBPVR's Neb Radio panel) or set them up in channel mode so you can select them as GBPVR channels.

UbuStream does not now, and will never, do "collaborative filtering":p
