I had it running well and then installed a new HD with a new recording drive. Since the change in recording directory, I don't get the show title/info anymore. When i browse the old recordings, the show info is still there.

Anyone know how i can get the tv info back?

The info for the old recording was stored in the video archive database, which is why it was still there. The info for the new recordings was stored in the GBPVR database, which probably removed the files when when you swapped disks. You should have a recording-dump.xml in your main gbpvr database that contains the list of your previous gbpvr recordings. You can import this into gbpvr using the Import Recordings button on the Plug-ins tab of the config app.

thanks for the response jeff.

I tried importing but the "no new shows to import" message came up. I tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling but the same issue.

I just tried recording something with the plugin installed and it just shows recorded on x date at x time, no show info. the default gbpvr recordings section shows the correct show title and info.

i'm befuddled.

I don't see anything obvious. It looks like some show information can not be found in your database, but you already knew that. Since you say the built-in recordings plug-in can see the information it seems like it must be there, so as a next step I suppose you could try posting your gbpvr.mdb and video archive.mdb files and I could confirm that this information is in them or not.

thanks jeff,

i don't if adding a gbpvr folder to the new recording drive made the difference but now newly recorded shows have the title/info when browsed by VA.

I had the config just point to G:. I changed to G:\gbpvr\ and it magically works. i didnt really change anything else.
