Using MS MCE Remote on XP Home

I have a Microsoft MCE remote that I'd like to use on a system running XP Home. XP Pro has the drivers and will install upon plugging it in but the drivers aren't present in XP Home. I think I can pull them off an XP Pro system but I don't know exactly which file(s) to pull & how to install. Seems I remember some one here saying he had done that but I can't locate the article. So, anyone know how to do that? I suppose I could install Pro but I'd rather keep the system the way it is.

I know I posted something about this I'm sure others have too.

The files you need to locate and copy to XP Home are "irbus.inf" and "irbus.sys".

Just drop them some place you can find them, plug in the receiver. When asked where to look for a driver, select "specifc location" and enter the path to the files.

Let me know if it doesn't work.
