I noticed that GB-PVR needs always to be on top in windows in order to use the remote. Buts Since I use S-vid out on the X-card to my TV set I don´t notice that some stupid windows screen (like another PC in my network reconnecting) I have to go back to windows on another S-vid channel on my tv (the tv-out of my video card) an close that window and click on GB-PVR to make it the active screen again.
Is there a (command line??) option to keep GB-PVR always on top?
cheers, arttext

Keeping it on top isn't enough. The Hauppauge IR software will only send keystrokes to the *active* application.

...but if you're using the XCard or PVR350, you can enabled the 'Use direct access to hauppauge remote' option, and kill the Hauppauge IR.exe. This will mean you can leave GB-PVR minimised and it will still get the keystrokes from the remote.
