Hello all,

I have set up a sucessful GBPVR rig, and have been "playing" with it for weeks now. The WAF on a PC in the living room is low, so I was planning on setting this machine up as a server elsewhere, then running a cable to an MVP in the living room (plus others elsewhere later).

My sticking point is this: I cannot get hold of a MediaMVP for love nor money in the UK. I have had one on order with Dabs for well over two months. They keep giving a delivery date, then hauppage keeps knocking back the dates, this has happened about 3 times now. Each time it is 3-4 weeks away, it counts down, then jumps back up to 3-4 weeks. I have a coworker in a similar situation, ordering through another company. There is just one location that I can find a retailer with stock (they will remain unnamed), but they are charging well over twice the price of anyone else!

Before I get desperate, buckle in and buy the from the rip-off mechants, does anyone know of any retailers in the uk with stock. Lots say "available in 3-4 weeks", but from what I can tell, they all are in the same boat with happauge's delivery slips.

Any ideas?

Well I was quite amazed when I found this, but QVC are selling them!

Get them here for the not too unreasonable price of £48.96 + £5.95 p+p Better still you'll get 30 days to make sure you can get it working or return it!!

OMGWTFBBQ! QVCUK?!?

The same fine purveyors of late night cubic zirconias, are my saviours!!

Ordered, on its way and not too much more than Dabs wanted! The dabs account is currently telling me delivery is now more than 4 weeks away, and yet QVC has them on clearance!?!

I would have never have thought of them in a million years! Thanks!

Well I'd just like to hastily point out that I came across it by using froogle. I'm not a regular on the QVC website - honest!

But hey, the Old Tupton Ware pair of Rene Rose eggs look hard to resist...

I have a mediamvp not used it for at least 6months. If you want you can have it for £22 (without the packaging but comes with the remote and batteries etc) recorded delivery, but I have to check that it working fine first.

Thanks for the offer herbs, but I've already dusted off the credit card for QVC. If things go well with this one, I might be in the line for another though!

Is that £22 incl delivery? If so may be interested.
