Hi

Here's a plugin I had running for myself for a while. Thought I'd release it.

Its just a recordings viewer. No videos, no scheduling, just choose a recording, play it...delete it. Nice and simple.

If I starts getting used I'll put it on the wiki......if one of the other plugins that views recordings wants to incorporate a view like this...then so be it I dont mind.

Purely designed for quick and easy recordings viewing. And on my MVP I've made the font REALLY big since my MVP tv is small. So it lends itself well for that.

I'd probably consider this a beta release. But I've been using it successfully for about 6 months.

Couple of features:
  • Shows Items that have been watched or not
  • Shows Items that are missing (in the DB but don't exist as a file)
  • Has the ability to replace the local path with another path, i.e replace G: with \\GBPVR for network clients
  • Shows the tuner status

I was gonna ask what's different about your plugin, then I thought I'd try it...

Not only does this default to the "Whats New" screen instead of the grouped "Ready" screen, it also shows the progress of the shows in the list. Awesome. I take it that the show title is supposed to stay white when the show is watched? I have a problem with that part....the title turns yellow after I exit and return to GBPVR. I tried to "Mark all as viewed" in the settings, but I get an error (The ConnectionString property has not been initialized) and after I hit Continue and restart GBPVR, the titles are all yellow again.

The other thing I have is that when viewing a recording and hitting the back button, I'd rather go back to the list rather than the more details box. Is there any way that I can change that?

This is a great plugin, and I'm glad that I came across it. Thanks.

Does this viewer work with the new SQLite database?

Thanks.

it just bases everything by title or date and shows you the number of epsisodes for each, it doesn't have any pretty pictures or anything....

ww4397 - yes it does. I'll release a newer version inthe weekend that should be slightly better, I had a couple of bugs to fix....

Can I have the source to this? I was working on the styling a little, for my own preference, hope you don't mind, and came across the problem of not being able to add the @channel field to the list view. I'm not a programmer, so having your source to go by would be a good start for me.
