Mongoose - I just installed your v 1.1 plug-in and the cursor keys seem to repeat really quickly, so moving the cursor just one step per key press is really difficult. Reverting to v 1.0 solved it. Have I done something wrong or is it a bug? BTW thanks for the readme.

Is there any way you can fix the fastforwarding and rewinding to act more like a VHS? meaning you watch the show speed up and go by without sound and then have it play once you hit play?

This is something I've always wanted but don't understand how to use the SDK for the remote plugin programming.

PhilTheDoc - With version 1.1 I changed the plugin so that if a cursor key is held down then the cursor moves from one selection to the next without having to repeatedly press the cursor key. This apears to be too sensitive on your setup. Does the cursor move one selection at a time if you press the key very quickly or does it move multiple selections all the time? The problem with finding a fix for this feature/bug is that the ATI Remote Wonder program is responsible for determining when a key is pressed once or when it is held down. When I get a chance I will have another look at the code and see if I can sort the problem out.

endlessracingz - The fastforward and rewind functions are part of GB-PVR. You could have a go at unticking the 'Use short skip instead of FF/RW' option on the 'Misc' tab of the GB-PVR configuration program. I haven't had much luck with it myself but it may work better for you.

Mongoose - thanks for that FF/RW info I always must have missed that. It seems to work decently on my computer however is there a way to increase the speed? it seems I can hit it once and it just goes but if I can increase the speed 2 or 3 times it would be more convient for me. Thanks for your help.

for those interested, using his plugin...http://remotew.free.fr/downloads/atimmc.zip I was able to change the TV button to start GBPVR. It hasn't been said here, but this will also change the big ATI button to the same functionality as the TV button. This makes the remote much more functional for me. Note that I have MMC installed and before doing this pressing TV or the ATI button would launch MMC - which I despised.

Also, the plugin can be used to launch any program. For instance, my DVD button launched powerDVD - which I also despised. I changed the ATIMMC.exe from the plugin to powerDVD.exe (renamed the real powerDVD.exe to powerDVD.exeZ) and left ATI.CFG as is, but changed the text reference inside to c:\program files\mpc\mplayerc.exe /dvd /play g:\ because I use media player classic as my dvd player. All this was in the same location as the original powerDVD.exe

For those people who want to use the DVD button launch the GBPVR DVD player, why don't you set the DVD player as the default video player. Check here...http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Manua...dReference

Hmm, my post must have disappeared in the server move.

Is it possible to change the volume control button to use GBPVRs internal volume instead of the master volume?

I know everybody doesn't like sound, but is there some way to get some feedback (e.g. sound) when a button is pushed? I loaded the beepbloop plugin, but it doesn't work with the ati remote wonder and this plugin.

The v0.98.13 release includes built in sound effects for key presses, but its turned off by default. You can turn it on in the System -> Settings screen.

By default it only sounds for the navigation keys and enter, but you can easily configure it for any other keys aswell.

The following plugin works with this ATI remote plugin to display volume, http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=13837
Make sure to set it to master volume in the plugins settings.

I've found that you can use the left and right dpad (where OK is in the centre) to control GBPVRs internal volume, which now displays on the OSD.

- EDIT -
OH, never mind. I misinterpreted your question. I thought you meant feedback from the volume (i.e it's current level).
