Now that my PVR has established a decent amount of recording history I've run into a problem explaining to the wife why some of her recordings didn't occur. It would be nice if GBPVR could monitor the recordings that are dubbed "previously recorded" and output that information within the application.

I think the new System menu would be a great place to view such a list. Adding a panel display that would list, for example, the number of recordings scheduled to be skipped during the next 24 hours would be equally appealing.

Am I making sense?

LOL! That's her problem. As long as I can say, "See honey? We already recorded that show." Besides, if the panel notification feature is added then we'll have a handy, dandy alert waiting for us. Big Grin

RecTracker does a very nice job of that.
It's a part of XRecord, or a standalone available on the wiki.
Not everything in XRecord works with 97.x, but RecTracker does.
Everything does work with pre-97.x, if you can find the old version of XRecord

Meh... Not sure if teaching the wife to read a log file is worth the effort...
