I have a problem with overlapping text in the Recordings menu. The title of the show overlaps the status (pending, ready...) of the show. Also, if the title of the show is too long, it gets cut off. Is there a way to prevent the overlapping? I am currently using the MCE2 skin but have the same results on the other skins that I have tried.

Thank you,

hahah... world CUP!!!! my recordings looks about the same...
anyway, i had the same problem. i suspect that you are using a base skin. So what i did is edit the recordings xml.
mine is located here:
"C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin\BaseSkin\recordings\skin.xml"

changed a couple of the settings,
here is what i changed it to:

skin.xml
Code:
        <!-- variables that can used include: groupName, totalCount, successCount, failedCount, lastRecordingDate, lastRecordingDateTime -->
        <CompositeImage name="DetailsViewNormalFolder" size="500,60">
            <!-- DrawRoundedRect loc="3,3" size="473,47" radius="5" borderWidth="2" borderColor="LightGray" fillColor="Transparent"/ -->
            <DrawImage filename="..\ListBarDetailNormal.png" loc="1,1" size="478,57"/>
            <DrawImage filename="folder.png" loc="8,7" size="16,16"/>
            <DrawText text="@groupName" loc="28,7" size="350,25" textStyle="DetailsViewItemsTitle" align="Left"/>
            <DrawText text="@totalCount" loc="325,7" size="150,25" textStyle="DetailsViewFolders" align="Right"/>
            <DrawText text="Last Recording:" loc="28,29" size="350,25" textStyle="DetailsViewFolders" align="Left"/>
            <DrawText text="@lastRecordingDateTime" loc="190,29" size="350,25" textStyle="DetailsViewFolders" align="Left"/>
            <!--<DrawImage filename="@folderPreviewImage" loc="420,6" size="75,70"/>-->
        </CompositeImage>

        <CompositeImage name="DetailsViewSelectedFolder" size="500,60">
            <!-- DrawRoundedRect loc="3,3" size="473,47" radius="5" borderWidth="6" borderColor="LightGray" fillColor="Horizontal:#002200-#008800"/ -->
            <DrawImage filename="..\ListBarDetailSelected.png" loc="1,1" size="478,57"/>
            <DrawImage filename="folder.png" loc="8,7" size="16,16"/>
            <DrawText text="@groupName" loc="28,7" size="350,25" textStyle="DetailsViewItemsTitle" align="Left"/>
            <DrawText text="@totalCount" loc="325,7" size="150,25" textStyle="DetailsViewFolders" align="Right"/>
            <DrawText text="Last Recording:" loc="28,29" size="350,25" textStyle="DetailsViewFolders" align="Left"/>
            <DrawText text="@lastRecordingDateTime" loc="190,29" size="350,25" textStyle="DetailsViewFolders" align="Left"/>
            <!--<DrawImage filename="@folderPreviewImage" loc="420,6" size="75,70"/>-->
        </CompositeImage>

it didnt let me upload the whole file... says 'invalid file' anyway if you need it i can email it to you.

You can attach the file as a .zip file. If that is the MCE2 skin and not BaseSkin, that file will not work.

If it is BaseSkin, I believe the latest version of BaseSkin fixed this. I have not had this issue with Chameleon (Which is BaseSkin themepack compatible).

I think I corrected this in BaseSkin v2.5?
Please download v2.5 and test.

Yeah.
I believe i am using v2.5. This fixed some of the formatting, for instance the "Ready" and the "Subtitle" text were not overlapping. But, the Subtittle text was shifted far to the right. The only thing that seemed to work is what i edited in the skin.xml file.

I am using the Advisor.Avance skin.

MixMan provided a fix for this in the baseskin updates. The file is called updated recordings skin.zip. but I am not sure whether it can safely be applied to 2.5.

South London is currently awash with drunken people wandering home singing "Engerland, Engerland".

Thank you for the response. I will try to update the baseskin to v2.5 when I get a chance. Which may be awhile since for the time being I am working, watching the World Cup games that I recorded with GBPVR (which was the actual reason I got a tuner card and started using GBPVR), playing with the kids, or watching World Cup with the kids. I will post a reply if I have any problems.

Thanks again,
Taz
